Objective

  • Add a second Address field to the csv upload file
  • Add a Source field to the csv upload file


Procedures

 

  1. Download a Custom csv file from ReferenceUSA
  2. Open the file in Excel (Note 1)
  3. Add a second Address column between Address and City
    1. Right-click on column G (City)
    2. Select Insert from the pop-up menu items
    3. Type Address 2 into cell G-1

  4. Add a Source column between Zip and Primary NAICS Description
    1. Right-click on column K (Primary NAICS Description)
    2. Select Insert from the pop-up menu items
    3. Type Source into cell K-1
    4. Type (or copy 'n paste) "ReferenceUSA" into the remaining cells in column K

  5. Save the file (Note 2)
  6. Close the file (Note 3)
  7. Upload into The Rocket!

  2. Excel will complain about feature compatibility.  Click Yes.

  3. Excel will ask if you want to save the file you just saved.  Click No.
